About Us

Our Story

Aishwanee House is an Indian saree house that sources rare artisan sarees featuring local art and regional craftsmanship from weaving clusters across India. Each piece is handpicked directly from the artisans and communities who make it — sarees that are genuinely hard to find online or offline.

What makes our sarees rare?

India's craft heritage doesn't live in factories — it lives in small clusters of looms and workshops, often in towns whose crafts never reach mainstream marketplaces. Our current collection draws from the hand tie-dye bandhani workshops of Gujarat, the brocade looms of Banaras, and Jaipur's printing traditions — worked on fabrics from wild Tussar silk to feather-light mul cotton. We work with local artisans and bring back small, curated lots. That is why most pieces in our catalogue exist in limited numbers — when a weave is gone, it is often gone for good.

How we choose what we sell

Every saree is selected for three things: the authenticity of its craft, the quality of its weave, and the story it carries. We list the craft, loom, fabric and origin on each product page so you always know what you are buying and where it comes from.

Not sure what to pick?

Choosing a saree for a wedding, a festival, or a gift can be overwhelming — especially with weaves you may not have seen before. Our styling team offers a free consultation: tell us the occasion, your budget and the colours you love, and we'll call you back with handpicked suggestions.
