Saree Story
Desert Muse
Hand-tied bandhani, framed by a printed border
Every dot on a Desert Muse saree was once a knot, tied by hand. Our artisans bind the entire saree point by point before it is dyed — thousands of tiny ties, each one leaving behind the bloom of colour that bandhani is loved for.

Tied entirely by hand
This is pure bandhani: artisans tie the full body of the saree with their own hands, knot after knot, before dyeing. No print can copy the gentle irregularity of real hand-tied dots — that is the signature of the craft.
Where tradition meets modern art
The hand-tied body is framed by a rich contrast border carrying a digital print, and the aanchal is digitally printed too. Old craft in the body, new art on the frame — a truly beautiful combination of tradition and modernity.
Where to wear it
Festive occasions, weddings and celebrations — bandhani has always been the fabric of joy, and Desert Muse wears that joy proudly.
